PSV Eindhoven sealed their place in the Europa League group stages with a comfortable 4-0 victory over Apollon Limassol in Cyprus. PSV progress 7-0 on aggregate.

After the 3-0 win in Eindhoven, PSV headed to Cyprus with a comfortable lead but without Steven Bergwijn. Jorrit Hendrix returned to the starting eleven in his place.

PSV dominated from the start and got chances through Mohamed Ihattaren and Denzel Dumfries. Cody Gakpo also went close before the break but goalkeeper Joël Mall denied the winger.

Serge Gakpe tested Jeroen Zoet early in the second half, but PSV remained comfortable and eventually took the lead in the 73rd minute. Donyell Malen raced clear before setting up Ihattaren to net.

Three minutes later, Malen set up substitute Kostas Mitroglou to make it 2-0. Malen then netted twice late on to seal a commanding victory for Mark van Bommel’s side.

PSV will be in Friday’s draw for the group stages.
