Being drawn in pot one did not hold much luck for the Eredivisie champions as they were first handed English giants Manchester United, and then Russian side CSKA Moscow and German powerhouse Wolfsburg in a tough looking group B.
The draw gives Memphis Depay a quick reunion with his former side PSV, after he left for Manchester United this summer, with the two side’s meeting in the group’s first game on September 15th in Eindhoven.
PSV will then face then face tricky away trips to CSKA Moscow and Wolfsburg, who are spearheaded by Dutchman Bas Dost, before the fixtures alternate in November.
The full schedule for PSV is as follows:
September 15th: PSV v Manchester United
September 30th: CSKA Moscow v PSV
October 21st: Wolfsburg v PSV
November 3rd: PSV v Wolfsburg
November 25th: Manchester United v PSV
December 8th: PSV v CSKA Moscow
