PSV Eindhoven are hoping to strengthen their defence with the signing of AC Milan full-back Ricardo Rodríguez.

The left-back slot has been an issue for PSV all season and recently Toni Lato’s loan from Valencia was cancelled.

PSV are now hoping to sign Ricardo Rodgriguez from AC Milan, with his agent confirming to Swiss newspaper Blick that conversations are ongoing.

Watford and some clubs from Germany are also interested in the Swiss international, but PSV are currently leading the chase.

The 27-year-old has been with AC Milan since 2017 but has struggled for game time this season. He wants to leave the club this January to ensure he gets into Switzerland’s Euro 2020 squad.
