According to Manchester Evening News Manchester City are keeping a keen eye on PSV Eindhoven’s attacking midfielder Gaston Pereiro.

The Citizens had the Uruguayan scouted during last week’s Champions League encounter with CSKA Moscow which resulted in the elimination of cross town rivals Manchester United from this season’s competition.
The 20 year old only arrived at Philips Stadion in July for Premier League Bound Memphis Depay having signed a five year deal. Since then he has been impressive having scored eight goals in all competitions for the Eredivisie Champions.
With the Boeren now in the knock-out rounds of the Champions League a January move looks unlikely and any transfer may have to wait until the summer.
