PSV picked up the Mexican for just €8 million from Liga MX side Pachuca in the summer and that is already proving to be an absolute bargain.
Lozano went into the tie with Vitesse on Sunday as top scorer in the league and he became the first player ever to find the net in seven of his first eight Eredivisie matches when he opened the scoring in the 18th minute. Lozano went on to net another goal and provide an assist as PSV ran out 4-2 winners, which keeps them five points clear at the top of the table.
The 22-year-old has made a remarkable start to the season and now has nine goals and three assists in eight matches.
PSV fans are used to seeing excellent wingers at the club with Dries Mertens, Memphis Depay, Arjen Robben and Balázs Dzsudzsák just some of the names to dazzle at the Phillips Stadion in recent years. It seems in Lozano, the club has found another superstar, who will undoubtedly be turning heads around Europe after his start to the campaign.
