Talented striker Milan van de Riet has signed his first professional contract with PSV Eindhoven and he has high ambitions.

The 17-year-old is prolific in PSV Eindhoven’s academy and will next year join the club’s under 18 side under the guidance of Ruud van Nistelrooy.

Van de Riet has been linked with some top German clubs in recent weeks but he has decided to sign his first professional contract with PSV Eindhoven. He is now tied down to 2022.

The youngster, who scored 17 goals in 20 appearances for PSV’s u17’s last season is now targeting his breakthrough at the club before moving to Barcelona.

He told the club’s website, “It would be nice if I could make my debut in the first of PSV. From there to Barcelona, ​​that would be a very nice step. Nice weather, very good players, nice football. That is a club where I would like to play.”

The striker has confidence in his ability, “Every season I try to score 25 goals and give 10 assists. Work hard during training, get better every day and show what you can do during the matches on Saturday.”
