According to De Telegraaf, PSV Eindhoven are hoping to convince Denzel Dumfries to sign a new and improved contract.

The PSV captain currently has a contract that runs until the summer of 2023, but the club wants to reward him for his fine form.

According to De Telegraaf, there is another reason for the contract offer with PSV trying to increase the right-back’s value if he was to leave.

PSV have a good relationship with Mino Raiola, who is the agent of Dumfries and they expect a positive outcome to the talks. It is a win-win for both parties, with Dumfries to get a higher wage, while PSV would get an increased transfer fee when he decides to depart.
