PSV Eindhoven will remain at the top of the Eredivisie this weekend after a straight forward 3-0 win at Groningen.

The league leaders were on course for their tenth straight win in the Eredivisie from the seventh minute, with Jetro Willems shot deflecting off Hans Hateboer before flying into the net.
PSV remained untroubled after the opener, but it wasn’t until the 51st minute that they doubled their lead with Marco van Ginkel spreading the play to Jurgen Locadia on the right wing, and the winger’s cross was beautifully flicked into the net by Davy Propper.
A minute later Van Ginkel nearly grabbed a goal for himself, but his strike was tipped onto the post by Sergio Padt, who also denied a fierce strike from Jeffrey Bruma.
Before the end a third goal did come through Locadia, who blasted a low strike into the bottom corner after being teed up by Maxime Lestienne.
PSV will stay at least one point ahead of Ajax this weekend, whatever the Amsterdam side achieve against Willem II on Sunday. Groningen lie 10th.
