Van Ginkel spent six months of last season on loan in Eindhoven and contributed to their title win. PSV were hoping to bring the midfielder back last summer but had to wait until January for a deal because of an injury suffered by the 24-year-old.

With his second loan deal coming to an end, Eindhoven Dagblad are reporting that PSV want to extend the move until the end of next season. The report states that a permanent move to Eindhoven is probably not possible because of the transfer fee.

Van Ginkel’s contract with Chelsea runs until 2019 and he stated last week that he still hopes to have a future in London. If Antonio Conte decides the Dutchman isn’t part of his plans then PSV will be front of the queue.
