RB Leipzig has progressed to the Champions League knockout stages after a 3-2 victory over Manchester United. Justin Kluivert scored for the second game running.

It was all to play for in Germany with RB Leipzig needing a win to progress, while Manchester United only needed a point. Kluivert began on the bench despite his goal against Bayern Munich at the weekend. Donny van de Beek and Timothy Fosu-Mensah are on the bench for Manchester United.
RB Leipzig raced into a two-goal lead within the first 13 minutes with former PSV Eindhoven left-back Angelino scoring, along with Amadou Haidara.
At the break, Kluivert came on for the hosts, while Van de Beek was thrown on to try and salvage something for United. Kluivert made an impact in the 69th minute by netting the third goal, lifting the ball over David de Gea from close range.
It was the Dutch winger’s second goal in two games with Kluivert netting in the 3-3 draw against Bayern Munich on Saturday.
Manchester United threatened a comeback with Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba scoring, but RB Leipzig held on to seal their place in the last 16.
For Manchester United, the defeat puts them out of the competition and increases the pressure on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
