According to RMC Sport, Real Madrid have entered the race to sign Ajax defender Matthijs de Ligt.

The 19-year-old has been heavily linked with PSG, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Juventus this summer. PSG are still considered favourites but Juventus have stepped up their interest recently and hope to use their positive relationship with Mino Raiola to seal a deal.
Now, RMC Sport are reporting that Real Madrid have made a move in the last few hours. The Spanish giants have contacted Raiola to ask whether the defender has already agreed to join another club.
Real Madrid want to know De Ligt’s demands and are now preparing an offer.
De Ligt is currently on holiday and is not set to make a decision on his future until he gets back.
