Daishawn Redan scored on his Hertha Berlin debut as his new side defeated Fenerbahce 2-1 in a friendly.

The 18-year-old made the switch from Chelsea to Hertha Berlin last week and he was named on the bench for the clash with Fenerbahce on Thursday.

Redan started the second half alongside fellow Dutchman Javairo Dilrosun with the score at 0-0. Fifteen minutes after the break, Redan opened the scoring with a close range finish.

Vedad Ibisevic then made it 2-0 before Allahyar Sayyadmanesh pulled back a consolation before the end.

Redan was signed to start in Hertha Berlin’s second team but if he can keep making a good impression in pre-season he could force his way into Ante Covic’s plans.
