Keizer was appointed as Peter Bosz’s replacement with the first team last week, kicking off the search for a new coach for the second string.
According to VI, Michael Reiziger has been chosen by Ajax and he will sign a two-year deal with the club as soon as the final details are finalised with Sparta Rotterdam. Reiziger was assistant to Alex Pastoor at Sparta.
The appointment will confirm Ajax’s coaching set up for next season with Keizer appointed in charge of the first team, Reiziger the reserves and John Heitinga heading the U19’s.
