Jairo Riedewald scored as Crystal Palace came back from behind to defeat Newcastle United 2-1.

Riedewald and Patrick van Aanholt both started for Crystal Palace, who fell behind in the second minute through a Jonjo Shelvey strike.
In the 21st minute, Riedewald equalised with a fierce strike from outside the box that flew into the net via a deflection. It was Riedewald’s second goal of the season and only his second since joining Crystal Palace.
Gary Cahill quickly headed Crystal Palace in front and they then held on to take the three points. Van Aanholt played the full game while Riedewald came off in the last minute.
