After 15 years in charge of Denmark, Morten Olsen resigned from his role this week with the national team being defeated by Sweden in the play-offs for Euro 2016.
The search now begins for Olsen’s replacement and according to Danish news source DR, Dutch duo Frank Rijkaard and Fred Rutten are candidates along with Michael Laudrup, and Lucian Favre.
Rijkaard has been out of work since leaving the Saudi Arabian national team in 2013, while Rutten left Feyenoord earlier this year.
