RKC Waalwijk announced the signing of Vurnon Anita on Monday after a successful trial

The 31-year-old midfielder arrived at RKC Waalwijk earlier this summer for a trial after leaving CSKA Sofia.

The former Ajax, Newcastle United and Leeds United star has now signed a one-year deal with RKC. Gregory van der Wiel remains on trial with RKC too, but is not yet fit enough to participate in matches.

RKC Waalwijk also announced the signing of Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Ayman Azhil on a season-long loan deal.
