The 34-year-old’s contract in Munich expires this summer with Robben hoping to reach an agreement which will see him stay at Bayern for next season. However, talks have not reached an agreement with some reports stating that the club are unsure on extending Robben’s contract.
Speaking to BR Sport, Robben said, “I am a bit impatient, unfortunately no decision has been made about whether or not to renew my contract.
“I have agreed with Karl-Heinz Rummenigge that we are going to talk in April, then we will see. I think this is the hardest part of the phase in which you come at this age, you know the end is coming closer … In order to always make the right decisions, it is very difficult and I will have to wait and see.”
Robben admitted he is keeping all options open including retiring.
