Robben has only recently returned to action for Bayern Munich after suffering an injury playing for his country in the tie with Iceland last September.
After consultation between Bayern and Robben, it has been decided that the winger should only be available for the game in Wales on Friday, while the Oranje captain will miss the trip to Germany four days later.
Blind told his press conference, “Last week I spoke with Robben. The intention is that he will play the first match against Wales. ”
“He has been in contact with his club about what is best in his situation. In consultation it was decided to let him play the first game so he then has a full week to prepare for the next game of Bayern Munich.”
