Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben has reacted to the news that he will miss the rest of the season after suffering a calf injury.

The Dutchman was making his comeback from an abdominal injury when he appeared from the bench in the DFB-Pokal semi-final against Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday, but only lasted fifteen minutes. After tests it was revealed that Robben had suffered a muscle rupture in his calf and with that his season was over.
Speaking to Kicker, Robben could not hide his disappointment about missing the last few weeks of the season, which includes the Champions League semi-final against Barcelona.
Robben said, “This really is madness. I have no words for so much bad luck.”
It remains to be seen whether Robben will be fit enough for Netherlands crucial European Championships qualifier against Latvia in June.
