After returning to team training last week, Arjen Robben is likely to feature in tonight’s DFB Pokal Semi-final as Bayern fight Dortmund for a spot in the final.

Robben has been sidelined since late March with an abdominal tear, and has missed an important Euro 2016 qualifier with the Netherlands and both ties of Bayern Munich’s Champions League quarter-final matches against FC Porto.
On the muscle tear the winger said, “I’ve had a lot of injuries in my career, but this is something new… I’ve never had something like this before.” Adding, “In everyday life there’s so much you do that requires the abdominal muscle. You’re not able to get up – sit down, go to the toilet. You’re always in pain.”
Guardiola will be happy to have Robben back, who’s form in the past year has been spectacular. Despite missing nearly two months of games, he is still the second top scorer in the Bundesliga this season, and has been electric on the right wing since the World Cup.
Having clinched the Bundesliga title for the third successive season, they will not have a relaxing end to the season as they chase the treble. In addition to the DFB Pokal semi-final they meet Barcelona in the semi-final of the Champions League.
