Ajax boss Peter Bosz stated this week that the club are looking to offload some players in the January transfer window, while on his wish list is a new winger. These comments may indicate that Anwar El Ghazi could be on his way out of the club after a turbulent start to the campaign.
The winger found himself out of the starting eleven at the start of the season and was banished to the Jong Ajax squad for a month after a training ground incident with Bosz. He has recently returned to the first team, but a January exit could still be on the cards.
According to Di Marzio, Serie A giants are very interested in the Dutch international with Mohamed Salah set for the African Cup of nations in January. Ajax want €12 million for El Ghazi, and have reportedly rejected a bid from French side Lille.
