Jans lamented the fact that his team have difficulty in converting their chances into goals and spoke of the upcoming match away at Sparta Rotterdam next weekend as relegation six-pointer
He said, “I thought we played well today on the whole but we paid the price for defending poorly on two occasions. I thought that we sold ourselves short today.
“We must be more effective in future because we created a lot of chances today. I thought our build up play was good but it is clear that we have difficulty in converting our chances into goals.
“At the start of the season we only had 2 points from 7 games and we are in a better position now with a good, fit squad and maybe it is disappointing for our fans to hear by next week away against Sparta Rotterdam is a relegation six-pointer.”
