Frank de Boer has been out of work since being sacked by Crystal Palace early in the season but he has been named as a possible candidate to replace Dick Advocaat as Oranje boss and also linked with his former club Rangers, who are currently managerless.
Ronald de Boer told BBC Scotland, “The Dutch team will be one of Frank’s things ‘to do,’ but if a big club came knocking on the door that would be very difficult to say no to.
“It would be the same with Rangers, he would think about it for sure, he had a great time there although it was a short spell.
“I don’t know. Rangers is a challenge, it’s a helluva task as we have seen over the last few years that there is no stopping Celtic, so it is a challenge.
“But, I don’t know if he is, at this moment, ready to take that challenge.”
Why was Ronald sacked? Completely evades all reason. Any club worth their weight in gold should sign him on as coach. I’d pick the Rangers over Netherlands.
Sorry, I meant Frank. Sorry, Ronald for my error.
De Boer is exactly thew type of Dutch coach we don’t need.
DE Boer needs 4-5 years away from coaching eredivisie/national team to reinvent his style of play
