According to Portuguese newspaper A Bola, Schalke are interested in signing Bas Dost from Sporting club de Portugal.

Sporting is reportedly struggling with debts and could look to offload some of their star players this summer.

Dost is open to leaving Portugal and A Bola is reporting that Schalke have enquired about his price tag. The Bundesliga club have been told that the striker would cost €20 million.

Dost, who moved to the club from Wolfsburg three years ago, still has two-years left on his contract with Sporting.
