The provisional squad for the upcoming Nations League ties with Poland and Italy was announced on Wednesday.

Netherlands may no longer have a head coach but on the 4th of September they will clash with Poland, before Italy visit Amsterdam four days later.

Dwight Lodeweges will take charge of the games and he selected the squad for the upcoming clashes.

The most striking inclusion was 20-year-old Ajax centre-back Perr Schuurs, who gets his first call-up. PSV midfielder Mohammed Ihattaren could also make his debut, along with AZ duo Teun Koopmeiners and Owen Wijndal.

Matthijs de Ligt, Steven Berghuis and Donyell Malen are all out injured. The squad will be confirmed next week.
