The Norwegian came off the pitch injured during the 2-1 win and after a scan at the hospital the midfielder has been given some bad news.
Heerenveen fansite FeanOnline is reporting that the 19-year-old was told that he has broken his metatarsal bone and left the hospital on crutches. With the injury needing months to heal the season is over for Odegaard, along with his time in Friesland.
The on-loan Real Madrid youngster has already stated that he is hoping to make a step up in the summer after two years with Heerenveen.
