The 40-year-old has been out of work since being sacked by AC Milan after a short spell in charge two years ago, but he has now decided to join Shenzhen FC. According to Voetbal International, Seedorf has signed a one-year deal.
Seedorf will take charge of his first training session later today and has been tasked with guiding the club back to the first division. Shenzen FC currently sit 7th in the 2nd division, and seven points off top spot with 14 games to go.
Shenzen FC face Qingdao Jonoon this Sunday in what will be Seedorf’s first game in charge.
