De Telegraaf are reporting that Ajax attacker Quincy Promes was arrested on Sunday morning on suspicion of being involved in a serious stabbing.

The newspaper is reporting that a family member of Promes was stabbed back in July and the attacker is believed to have been involved.
At the moment, Promes is under suspicion of assault resulting in serious injury and that could have a maximum sentence of four years in prison. He is currently in police custody and will stay there for a maximum of three days, but that could be extended based on the statements from Promes.
De Telegraaf writes that Promes held a family party in Abcoude back in July. He got in an argument with a family member and reportedly stabbed him. The victim was injured and later reported the stabbing. He has sustained serious knee injuries.
Police have reportedly confirmed to De Telegraaf that Promes is in custody.
