Siem de Jong is a free agent after leaving MLS side FC Cincinnati.

The American side, coached by Jaap Stam, announced last week that they would not extend De Jong’s expiring contract.
The 31-year-old is now a free agent and can begin looking for a new club.
De Jong said on his Instagram page, “It was a difficult year, but to complain about this in 2020 feels unnecessary. I will never forget the people I worked with. I want to thank everyone and wish them all the best for the future.”
De Jong joined FC Cincinnati last February after Ajax allowed him to depart on a free transfer. However, the midfielder was not a success in America, contributing no goals or assists in 16 games.
