17-year-old Dutch midfielder Xavi Simons made his first-team debut for PSG on Wednesday night.

With 12 minutes to go of the 1-0 victory over Caen, Simons came on for his PSG debut.

After the game, Simons spoke with PSG TV, “This was a very special moment for me.

“I hope that I can play more often in the near future and more moments like this will follow. I am very happy and emotional. The team played well and we are happy to be in the next round of the cup tournament. ”

Simons joined PSG from Barcelona in 2019 and has featured on the bench several times for the French giants before finally making his debut.
