The former Ajax left-back has struggled with injuries since joining Bayer Leverkusen in the summer but has become a starter in recent weeks.
Against Borussia Dortmund, Sinkgraven was once again in the starting line-up and he put in a very impressive performance.
Kevin Volland gave Bayer the lead, but goals from Mats Hummels and Emre Can had turned the game around by the half-hour mark. Just before the break, Volland scored his second to make it 2-2.
Dortmund regained the lead in the second half through Raphael Guerreiro but Leon Bailey made it 3-3 with 10 minutes left. Sinkgraven then laid on the match winning assist for Lars Bender to head Leverkusen to victory.
After the game, Fox Sports asked Sinkgraven if he was thinking about a possible Netherlands call-up and he responded, “I don’t know, it’s not up to me. The Bundesliga is of course a top competition and I play in that.”
