Ajax had a special visitor during their winter training camp in Turkey, with Wesley Sneijder giving his opinion on his former club’s title chances and new talent.

Ajax have been training in Belek ahead of the 2nd half of the Eredivisie season, and Sneijder, who currently plays for Galatasaray, turned up to their training ground on Sunday.
Sneijder was especially pleased by what he saw in Ajax youngster Donny van de Beek. He told VI, “Especially Van de Beek strikes me. Even before his debut, I heard good stories about him and now I know why,
“It’s good to see that once again stands up a lot of new talent at Ajax,”
Sneijder also believes Frank de Boer’s side will lift the Eredivisie trophy this season, “Ajax has the widest selection and the most quality. I expect them to be champion.”
