Galatasaray confirmed on Friday evening that the 31-year-old had committed his future to the club for the next three years, with his new contract worth up to €4.2 million a year.
Sneijder will earn a base amount of €3.2 million but that can be added to by bonuses, including €250,000 each for winning the league and reaching the last 16 of the Champions League.
The former Ajax and Real Madrid star joined Galatasaray back in 2013 from Inter Milan, and it seems Sneijder is content with seeing out his career in Turkey.
