The veteran midfielder dissolved his contract with Galatasaray in the summer to join OGC Nice, but his time in France hasn’t been a success with injuries limiting him to eight appearances.
On Monday it was announced that Sneijder wouldn’t play again this year after picking up a thigh injury, and according to AD he is eyeing a move to the MLS.
Sneijder’s agent Guido Albers reportedly flew to America on Monday to talk with Los Angeles FC about a possible transfer. The American side were heavily linked with the Netherlands international in the summer, but the 33-year-old chose Nice in order to keep his chances of featuring for his country alive.
However, with Netherlands now failing to reach the World Cup and a new head coach coming in, Sneijder may look to move to the MLS in order to see out his playing days.
