sneijd trThere had been suggestions that Coach Louis van Gaal is looking to change to a 4-3-3 formation for their next match against Australia on Wednesday.

The 5-3-2 formation allowed midfielder Wesley Sneijder to play in his preferred role of number ten, just behind the striker, and he is hoping that the coach sticks with it.

This is what Sneijder, who now has 100 caps for the Oranje had to say on the topic, “It is a very difficult,”

“I would say 5-3-2. This is a feeling Of course, we can very well play 4-3-3 against Australia, but in the 5-3-2 system, we put down some markers, I think it’s good to continue in the remainder of this World Cup. On the same footing never change a winning system.”

The 30 year old midfielder got himself two assists in the 5-1 win against Spain on Friday.
