Sparta Rotterdam eased to a simple 5-1 win over Emmen at Het Kasteel.

Emmen’s form away is a massive contrast to at home and after only two minutes they found themselves behind. Patrick Joosten capitalised on a big error from Dennis Telgenkamp.
An excellent solo goal by Mohamed Rayhi doubled the hosts lead after half an hour. Then Bart Vriends made it 3-0 before the break with a header.
Jafar Arias and Keziah Veendorp both came on for Emmen at the break and in the 55th minute, Michael de Leeuw pulled one goal back. However, that was not the start of a comeback.
In the 81st minute, Miguel Araujo put the ball in his own net to make it 4-1 before Abdou Harroui added a fifth before the end.
Sparta are now eleventh with Emmen in 12th.
