Keizer took over the Portuguese giants back in November and led them to two trophies. The Portuguese cup and the Portuguese Super Cup, but a league title challenge was never on the cards.
After a disappointing start to the new campaign, Sporting have decided to make a change and replace Keizer with the head coach of the youth team, Leonel Pontes.
Keizer confirmed the news in a video and said, “I want to thank everyone for a great time. This is a pleasant country to work in and I look back on a good time with two prizes. Now the time has come for someone else. ”
