According to De Telegraaf, Jaap Stam is a candidate to become head coach of English Championship side Reading.

Stam recently left his position in charge of Jong Ajax and has rejected opportunities in the Netherlands as he waits for a coaching position in England. That opportunity may have now arrived for the former Ajax and Manchester United centre back.
De Telegraaf is reporting that Stam and his representatives were spotted in London after holding talks with Championship side Reading, who sacked Brian McDermott on Friday.
The 43-year-old completed his coaching badges recently, and his first big task could be returning Reading to the Premier League.
