Calvin Stengs has told de Volkskrant that will only leave AZ Alkmaar for the right club.

With ten goals and 12 assists last season, Stengs has drawn the attention of several top European clubs, but AZ are looking for a high price for their star player.

Oussama Idrissi has confirmed he wants to leave the club, while Myron Boadu is open to a stay. Stengs admitted he has ambitions but is only willing to leave AZ Alkmaar for the right club.

He said, “You have ambitions, the club knows that too. That’s true for a lot of guys. You don’t know how the transfer market is developing. There’s no rush, this is a good selection.”

The Euro’s next summer isn’t influencing Stengs decision, “You should not let the choice depend on that. It has to be better than AZ, we play here for the prizes. With this selection you will do that next season.”
