According to Voetbal International Sunderland want to loan Chelsea midfielder Marco van Ginkel.

The 22-year-old Dutchman spent last season on loan with AC Milan, and with playing time unlikely at Chelsea next season Van Ginkel is set to embark on another season away from Stamford Bridge.
Newcastle United seemed to be close to agreeing a deal for the midfielder, but Voetbal International are now reporting that their rivals Sunderland are also hoping to welcome Van Ginkel this summer. The club managed by Dick Advocaat have already approached Van Ginkel.
The former Vitesse Arnhem star is contracted to Chelsea until 2018, but has only made four appearances for the Premier League champions.
