The Dutch-born Moroccan player has been subject to interest from a number of teams this summer with PSV, Galatasaray, Middlesbrough and Hertha Berlin all linked to the rising Eredivise star. However, it appears that Swansea City have entered the race and are ‘very close’ to signing Ziyech, who is currently valued at €10 (£7.5) million.
Ziyech has been in excellent form this season, scoring seventeen goals and contributing twelve assists in thirty-three games, a bright spark in an otherwise difficult season, both on and off the pitch, for FC Twente.
It is thought that Swansea City want to make Ziyech their first signing of the summer in a new era for the club, following a recent takeover. The attacking midfielder moved from Heerenveen to FC Twente in 2014 for €3.5 (£2.63) million, so any sale will be a healthy profit for struggling FC Twente.
