It appears that Nicolas Tagliafico can forget about a move to Chelsea this summer, with the Premier League side focusing their sights on a different left-back.

The Argentinian is expected to depart Ajax this summer and had been linked with a move to Chelsea.

However, various English media outlets, including the Express, are reporting that Chelsea are not interested in signing Tagliafico. They have set their sights on Leicester City star Ben Chilwell.

The two English clubs have started negotiations with Chilwell open to the move. A move for the English international could cost Chelsea anything up to €70 million.

Should Chelsea decide to look elsewhere then Tagliafico could come back into the thinking, along with Alex Telles, Marc Cucurella, and Fode Ballo-Toure.

Tagliafico has also been linked to a number of other clubs such as PSG, Atletico Madrid and Barcelona.
