According to The Telegraph, Ben Chilwell remains Chelsea’s prime target for their left back position despite his hefty price tag.

Chelsea are on the lookout for a new left-back this summer and have been linked with Chilwell, along with Ajax star Nicolas Tagliafico.

According to The Telegraph, Chilwell remains the prime target for the Premier League side, but Leicester City are not willing to let the English international leave on the cheap. The club have no need to sell Chilwell and will ask for a similar fee to which Manchester United paid for Harry Maguire, which was €85 million. There is talk that Chilwell could go for €60 million.

If Chelsea decide that is too much then they could then look to Tagliafico, who would cost around €25 million. It would be the second time that Chelsea had raided Ajax this summer with Hakim Ziyech already heading to London.
