According to Voetbal International, Mike Te Wierik has been told he can leave Derby County and a return to the Eredivisie is on the cards.

The centre-back made the move to Derby County in the summer after leaving Groningen on a free transfer. However, he has not been able to earn a spot in the Championship side’s defence.
Derby County have now told the 28-year-old that he is now free to leave on a loan or permanent deal.
According to VI, Fortuna Sittard, FC Groningen and Heracles Almelo are all interested in the defender, while St. Pauli of Germany could also make a move.
