The 33-year-old midfielder, who currently plays with Danish club Midtjylland, told Helden Magazine earlier this week that he doesn’t feel too big to play in the Eerste Divisie and wouldn’t rule out a move to Telstar in the future before he retires.
Telstar then took to Twitter to say the contract and shirt are ready for the former Dutch international.

Telstar CEO Pieter de Waard told NHD, “Technical players can generally sustain quite long. We are honoured with the words of Rafael. He is from the area and has often said that he thinks Telstar is a nice club.”
