According to reports in Italy, Sam Lammers could be set to leave Atalanta Bergamo on loan in January.

The striker left PSV Eindhoven for Atalanta in the summer and had a promising start for the Italian side. However, he has been on the bench in recent weeks and only has a total of nine appearances in Serie A.

According to several reports in Italy, including from Tuttosport and La Gazzetta dello Sport, Lammers could now be loaned out in January with Sampdoria, Genoa and Bologna all interested.

It is not clear whether Atalanta are interested in loaning out the striker, but with his chances of playing time slim it could be the best outcome for both parties.

Lammers has a contract in Bergamo until 2025.
