The Netherlands U21 provisional squad was announced on Friday with three players earning their first call-up.

Netherlands have two crucial European Championship qualifiers in March against Bulgaria on the 25th and then Switzerland on the 29th.

Erwin van de Looi has named his provisional squad with Jan Paul van Hecke (Blackburn Rovers), Elayis Tavsan (NEC) and Thomas Buitink (Vitesse) all earning their first call-ups.

Van de Looi also has Ajax midfielder Ryan Gravenberch available to him after he was left out of the Netherlands squad.

The full provisional squad is as follows:

Defenders: Mitchel Bakker (Bayer Leverkusen), Sepp van den Berg (Prestorn North End), Devyne Rensch (Ajax), Sven Botman (Lille), Ian Maatsen (Coventry City), Melayro Bogarde (FC Groningen), Neraysho Kasanwirjo (FC Groningen) ), Ki-Jana Hoever (Wolverhampton Wanderers), Lutsharel Geertruida (Feyenoord), Jan Paul van Hecke (Blackburn Rovers).

Midfielders: Ryan Gravenberch (Ajax), Kenneth Taylor (Ajax), Wouter Burger (FC Basel), Daniรซl van Kaam (FC Groningen), Quinten Timber (FC Utrecht), Ludovit Reis (Hamburg), Jurgen Ekkelenkamp (Hertha Berlin).
