TORRES PSVAfter two legs, neither side could be separated, and only Luciano Narsingh’s missed penalty saw Atletico reach the last eight of the Champions League.

Speaking to Spanish press after the game, Atletico striker Fernando Torres praised PSV and especially goalkeeper Jeroen Zoet.

He said to AS, “You have to give credit to PSV. They raised their game very well,

“We found it very hard to create chances. Their goalkeeper was the player of the tie.

“There wasn’t much more. They gave up on attack after the end of the first half. We couldn’t have the chances we wanted.

“I’m calmer now. We’re happy and excited but very tired. We’re through this round and there are fewer left and everything remains the same.
