The Guardian are reporting that Tottenham Hotspur are hoping to sign Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombélé, but the newspaper also adds a small bit of news about their pursuit of Ajax’s Donny van de Beek.
They report that Tottenham have held talks with the Dutch midfielder’s agents and he is also being lined up for a summer move to London.
Van de Beek is open to remaining at Ajax this summer but has also hinted he is ready for a move abroad. Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and PSG have all been linked, along with Premier League sides Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.
Ajax reportedly wants €50 million for the 22-year-old, who still has a contract until 2022.
