The striker has been holding out for his dream move to White Hart Lane, and should finally get his wish this week with AD reporting that Tottenham are now willing to meet AZ Alkmaar’s asking price of €20 million.
The Premier League side saw a €18 million bid rejected last month, but they are now set to beat PSG, West Ham United and Wolfsburg to the strikers signing and expect a deal to be wrapped up quickly once the fee is agreed.
Personal terms are said to be basically agreed and Janssen, who took part in training with AZ today, should be heading for London by the end of the week.
